REGISTER TO VOTE
Registering to vote is easy and can be done in a few minutes!
The last day to register to vote in the November 8, 2022, election is October 24, 2022, please register early.
The application is available in English, Spanish, Chinese, Hindi, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Tagalog, Thai, and Vietnamese.

VOTING OPTIONS
Vote-by-Mail
Every registered voter will receive a vote-by-mail ballot beginning on October 10, 2022. All ballots postmarked on or before November 8, 2022 and received by the county elections office no later than 7 days after Election Day will be counted.
If you are unsure if your vote-by-mail ballot will arrive in time, bring it to any Orange County polling location on Election Day.
SECURE BALLOT DROP-BOXES IN CYPRESS
Voters can drop their ballots off at any countywide secure ballot drop-box. Drop-boxes can be found at two locations within Cypress:
- Cypress Community Center - 700 Orange Ave, Cypress, CA 90630 Directions
- Veterans Park - 4554 Avenida Granada, Cypress, CA 90630 Directions
IN-PERSON VOTING
If you prefer to vote in person, you can cast your ballot at any Vote Center in Orange County, regardless of your address. Cypress is hosting 3 Vote Center locations:

ELECTION DAY: Voting centers will be open for an additional hour from 7 AM and 8 PM.

CITY COUNCIL ELECTIONS
Cypress residents will have an opportunity to vote for up to three candidates to serve on the Cypress City Council. The three candidates receiving the highest number of voters will serve four-year terms.
