This 15-minute appointment will assist anyone with their technological questions.  Whether you have questions about your phone, tablet or computer, our volunteers are happy to help. You must bring your device with you to the appointment.

Senior Citizens Legal Advocacy Program

The Legal Advocacy program (Legal Aid) provides seniors 60 years or older, residing in Orange and Los Angeles Counties, with free counseling, referrals, and representation in administrative and civil cases. A brief 20 minute consultation for adults 60 and older. Advice and referrals are made by a paralegal, under the direction of an attorney in areas such as bankruptcy, small claims, wills, powers of attorney, conservatorship, personal injury, workers’ compensation, family law and real estate.

Appointments are available the 3rd Thursday of every month, 9:00 - 11:00 AM.

Orange County residents age 60 or older.

Health Insurance Counseling & Advocacy Program (HICAP)

Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program (HICAP) is a volunteer supported program that provides free counseling and educational services for older adults and their families. You will receive unbiased information to help you make the best choices for your individual health care needs, including:

• Your rights as a health care consumer.
• Medicare benefits and rights, including information on Medicare Part D, Prescription Drug Coverage.
• Private Medicare supplemental health insurance policy benefits and exclusions.
• HMOs and how they work.
• Long-term care insurance.

Notary Service with Care Patrol

Free notary service available offered by CARE Patrol to seniors 60 and older.  Patrons must provide required documents and a valid ID. Services available every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month by appointment only. Call (714) 229-6670 for an appointment.
