Capital Improvements

The Capital Improvement Program (CIP) identifies major public improvements to the City’s infrastructure over the next seven years. The document is a planning tool to ensure that the City’s infrastructure needs are addressed and the City can plan for major expenditures. One of the City’s Strategic Plan Goals is to “Maintain and Enhance Infrastructure and Facilities”, and the CIP is the City Council’s primary effort to accomplish the goal.

Capital Projects include improvements with an estimate cost in excess of $10,000 including:

  • Streets
  • Traffic Signals
  • Storm Drains
  • Sewers
  • Parkways
  • Public Facilities
  • Parks
