Pee Wee Sports

 

Pee Wee Sports is a program that offers various sports on a quarterly basis. Through this program young athletes are able to indulge themselves in learning a new sport, giving them the opportunity to have fun with others and stay active while playing outside. All Pee Wee Sports classes are coached by City of Cypress Recreation staff and any needed equipment will be supplied!

Registration will open on December 2nd for Cypress Residents and December 9th for Non-Residents.

WINTER PEE WEES


ALL SORTS OF SPORTS

Haven’t found your niche? Now is the time! Come join our awesome Recreation staff in a camp-like setting while playing a variety of sports throughout the course. Participants will be exposed to a different sport each class; among the sports will be baseball, kickball, track, and much more! All sports will increase your athlete’s participation and sportsmanship level while having fun and learning what sports they enjoy the most. Parent involvement is encouraged.

SOCCER

Dribble, pass, shoot, and GOAL!! Calling on all the young soccer players to come and learn the fundamentals of soccer with our Recreation staff. Players will participate in age-appropriate activities and fun games. Parent involvement is encouraged.

Every Tuesday from January 21 to February 25

BASEBALL

Calling on all participants to lace up their shoes, grab a glove and head out to the baseball diamond. Recreation staff will encourage “fun fundamentals” to all players in this class. Baseball is a game of repetition and this is a great opportunity for young ball players to focus on their fundamentals. Six weeks of age-appropriate activities and fun games will teach the ball players to field, hit, run the bases, and the positions. Parent involvement is encouraged.
