Not only do these guidelines help with wear and tear but also public safety. Commercial vehicles are required to travel in the predetermined route below to avoid collisions due to their vehicles lengths being too long and needing to drive on the wrong side of the road to make corners. 

Those who drive commercial vehicles on routes that are not approved are subject to being issued a citation.
