Cypress Senior Center
The Cypress Senior Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. For more information, call (714) 229-2005.
Stop by to enjoy your favorite activities including health & wellness classes, presentations, Senior Center Cinemas, indoor dining, computer lab, fitness center, leisure activities and much more. We also continue to offer outdoor classes and Grab N Go services. All programs and classes are subject to change without notice.
For everyone’s safety, masks are required in the building at all times, regardless of vaccination status.
Lunch Café (provided by Meals on Wheels OC)
The Lunch Café is open to anyone 60 or older. Every contribution we receive helps Meals on Wheels Orange County deliver meals to Orange County senior centers. The nutrition desk is open at 10:30 AM for check in.
Lunch is served Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 12:00 PM on a first come, first serve basis. Suggested contribution for lunch is $3.00, but everyone is welcome, even if a contribution is not possible. Guests under 60 can enjoy lunch for a fee of $5.00. Grab N Go Meal Distribution (provided by Meals on Wheels OC)
As an alternative to the congregate lunch program, the Senior Center provides frozen meals that participants can pick up and take home. Curbside pick-up takes place Tuesdays, between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM at the North end of the building on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information please call (714) 229-2005.
Senior Grocery Program (Second Harvest Food Bank)
Once a month from 9:00 - 10:30 AM or until gone, the Senior Center distributes commodities in the Multi-purpose Room West (Dining Center). These shelf-stable items provided by Second Harvest Food Bank are handled by Recreation staff and volunteers, following the suggested health and safety guidelines. Orange County's Office on Aging
Orange County's Office on Aging is available to assist seniors who may not have access to food or other necessities as they self-isolate to avoid exposure to COVID-19.
Older adults and/or their families are encouraged to call the Office on Aging's Call Center at (800) 510-2020 for assistance.
