Water Quality Management Plan Information

If you plan to construct a project on land that is greater than 1 acre, you will be required to submit a Notice of Intent (NOI) to the State of California Water Resources Control Board as well as prepare a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP).

All construction projects, a minimum, shall conform with the best management practices outlined in the Construction Runoff Guidance Manual. This guide is intended to assist applicants for building or grading permits in understanding and complying with the regulatory requirements for water protection during construction.
